Our First Home Project
A special thanks to Robin and Tai - two friends who helped us make this happen. We couldn’t have made these shelves without their help!
Our goal was to create an organized space for our books, A.K.A: a bookshelf, that would become the focal point of our home…one that we could share with everyone who visits.
Note: Not pictured below is the Pinterest research we conducted along with the initial drawings with measurements that we took with us to buy all the wood and galvanized pipes.
Step 1: sanding, priming, and painting the galvanized pipes and wood. We used a grey spray paint for the pipes and a whitewash for the wood shelves.
Step 2: finding wall studs, leveling, and hanging up the pipes then the shelves.
Step 3: stylizing our shelves.
